EmailRocks & Co., is delighted to announce the special guest appearance of renowned television icon, Sarah Greene at 7pm on Sunday 23rd November, 2008. Her appearance will signal the start of a new fortnightly ‘Tonight with John Scott’ segment, where John invites one of his celebrity friends to join him live on Rocks and Co.It would be safe to call Sarah Greene an icon when it comes to television. She has been a household name for almost three decades since her 1979 television debut as part of the live daytime drama, ‘Together’. First appearing as a guest on the popular children’s television programme ‘Blue Peter’, she became the show’s presenter from 1980 until 1983. After leaving ‘Blue Peter’, Sarah went on to present ‘Saturday Superstore’ alongside Mike Read, then on to co-host ‘Going Live!’ with Phillip Schofield. It was during her time on ‘Going Live!’ that Sarah began to star in a series of Nescafé television commercials. She also went on to present Channel 4’s popular daytime antiques programme, ‘Collectors Lot’. Apart from presenting magazine shows such as the BBC’s ‘Pebble Mill at One’, Greene has also acted in ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Casualty’, and ‘French & Saunders’. In 1992, she combined both her acting and presenting talents in a hoax paranormal programme called ‘Ghostwatch’, alongside her husband Mike Smith and Michael Parkinson. She has even made a foray into feature films, appearing in ‘The Man Who Knew Too Little’ starring Bill Murray. More recently, Sarah appeared on the ITV programme, ‘Have I Been Here Before?’ and was also a regular presenter on the magazine show ‘This Morning’, where she met good friend and fellow celebrity John Scott.
