Genevieve Ni Reamoinn is to join the team at Shop Extra. Gen brings a wealth of experience with her, including in an area most familiar to a lot of viewers (I wonder what that could be? ..... all will be revealed soon)
You may have noticed by her accent that Genevieve is originally from Co. Cork. She kissed the Blarney Stone on a school trip and hasn’t stopped chatting since. Over the last 20 years she has presented thousands of hours of live and recorded television, including reporting from Red Carpet events such as the BAFTA’s.
She started her career in presenting and journalism in Ireland working for RTE and TV3 and was a regular presenter on the magazine panel show ‘Midday’. She also studied fashion and design and combined this with her journalism to write numerous articles on fashion, lifestyle and beauty for national magazines and newspapers. She works as a stylist for TV and fashion editorials, and works with private high-profile clients, advising on styling and presentation.
Genevieve has worked as a shopping channel presenter since 2003. In that time she has grown a very loyal following of viewers and is known for presenting one of the most watched fashion shows across the channels. She is also known for her warmth, energy and humour in presenting which she continues to bring to Shopping television.
