Crafter’s Companion partners with QVC

Global craft business, Crafter’s Companion, is announcing a new partnership with video commerce retailer, QVC UK.

As well as launching online at www.qvcuk.com, Crafter’s Companion’s first live QVC show will be a Christmas crafting special on 9 August. The show, which will be hosted by QVC presenter Alex Kramer alongside Crafter’s Companion founder Sara Davies, will feature exciting new Christmas-themed launches, mystery crafting bundles and core crafting products.

QVC was instrumental in bringing papercraft to the UK craft market more than two decades ago. The retailer recently decided to increase its craft offering once again online and on-air via their unique shopping experience available in 28 million homes, choosing Crafter’s Companion to support them with this vision.

The initial show will be followed by weekly, two-hour shows throughout September. In addition to exciting live shows, viewers and customers can join an exclusive group on Facebook where they can access sneak peeks and previews with Sara and gain access to a pre-show brochure.

Established in 1993 as the UK’s first-ever video commerce retailer, QVC has continued to partner with premium brands, showcasing unique, game-changing products and provide exceptional customer service, across its digital and on-air platforms.

Sara Davies, founder and creative director of Crafter’s Companion, said: “As craft continues to grow in popularity, we have been looking for new opportunities to expand our creative community. QVC is bolstering its craft offering and had some fantastic ideas of how they can work with Crafter’s Companion, so we are beyond thrilled with this new partnership.

“QVC is the perfect place to excite our existing creative community, while introducing a lot of new people to our brands.”

Jo Iddon, Buying Manager for Home at QVC UK added: “Crafter’s Companion is a firm favourite with crafters and creators, so we are delighted with this new partnership. We are keen to introduce their innovative products online at www.qvcuk.com and during our inspiring shows to our engaged audience and look forward to working with the team.”

Viewers can find QVC online at www.qvcuk.com or on Freeview 16, Sky channel 660, Freesat channel 800 and Freeview HD channel 111.
