Renown Beauty Site Byrdie Taps QVC for Livestream Video Shopping Series
Byrdie, one of the world’s largest beauty websites, and QVC, a world leader in video commerce, have teamed up to create “Byrdie Beauty Hour,” a livestream series on Facebook, YouTube, and QVC2 that introduces millions of Byrdie followers to the incredible selection of beauty products at QVC.
The new streaming show features specially curated products and editorial insights to help customers discover the best in beauty and skincare. Each episode brings together a QVC host and Leah Wyar, Byrdie’s General Manager (at right above), to discuss beauty brands in a relaxed, romanticised manner and answer audience questions in real time.
“The editors at Byrdie pick beauty products from our collections for each episode to offer viewers the perfect additions to their beauty routines,” said Bridget Love, General Merchandising Manager and VP, Beauty, QVC US and HSN. “We’re excited to introduce QVC as a beauty destination to Byrdie’s engaged followers, while also introducing our beauty fans to Byrdie.”
The show is livestreamed quarterly on QVC’s and Byrdie’s Facebook and YouTube pages, the QVC2 broadcast channel, and QVC’s website and mobile apps, and appears on the QVC and HSN streaming service on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and LG. The show is promoted on Byrdie.com, with links to products on QVC.com so customers can easily shop the items seen on the show.
