Gemporia are thrilled to launch their brand new diamond collections across their live auction and website. The collections, exclusively designed by Gemporia feature centrepiece diamonds with the De Beers Code of Origin.

The De Beers Code of Origin is a trusted source programme that reflects De Beers’ deep commitment to social and environmental responsibility, so you can feel proud of your diamond and the opportunities it has created. Each diamond has a unique customised code that is invisible to the naked eye.

Inspired by two of the countries where diamonds with the De Beers Code of Origin can be discovered, these collections celebrate the important contributions diamonds make to the people and places where they are found.

The first of the two collections is inspired by the beautiful lands of Namibia and the journey the diamonds take as they are carried down the Orange River and eventually settle onto the seabed. Gemporia are proud to bring them to life in breath-taking designs encapsulating the embodiment of the ocean waves that have long held these remarkable treasures, ready to write the next chapter in their story.

The second collection celebrates the history of Botswana and its special place within the story of diamonds. De Beers has been operating a joint venture partnership with the Government of Botswana for over fifty years since diamonds where first discovered, between this partnership and the Government’s careful management of diamond revenues Botswana has transformed into one of the fastest-growing economies on the planet. The curated collection showcases designs inspired by the strong lines of the Botswana flag, offering customers the chance to own extraordinary legacy pieces.

“We are thrilled to be launching two brand new natural diamond collections. The traceability and sustainability of the gemstones we use in our jewellery is incredibly important to Gemporia so to be able to bring our customers designs with the De Beers Code of Origin is extremely exciting. It’s De Beers’ mission to work in partnership with their host countries to leave a positive, lasting impact and this is something that aligns with our own values and is a big factor in the gemstones we choose to use in our jewellery. The natural diamond industry generates around £12 billion in net socioeconomic and environmental benefits annually, 60% of which are retained locally, contributing towards education, healthcare, developing industries, protecting the environment and wildlife, says Commercial Director, Jake Thompson.

Launching on 25th February the stunning collection will debut 36 brand new designs featuring rings, pendants and earrings with prices starting from £249
